Gail Nelson

For as long as I can remember, I have been in front of or behind a camera. My Mom is a photographer, and I grew up learning to develop film and photographs.

Always assuming that portraits were best left to the "pro's", I didn't pursue it professionally. Never-mind that a pro is one who works, studies and develops their eye, it is an on-going process.

Coming from a long line of photographers, journalists and designers, creative arts are in my blood - and I decided to take that leap of faith. As my husband's best friend put it, "don't you bleed vowels when you're cut?"

Having taken that leap of faith, I now create portraits full-time, write, and design logos and websites. It's the best of combinations in a crazy world.
