To be a great photographer, I think you need to love people, everyone from the nervous Mom to be who just wants her first portraits with her little one to be perfect, to the teen just starting their senior year with all sorts of possibilities in front of them.
I believe that photography captures the essence of that person, and if they are happy and excited, it shows in the images captured. It's almost magical, the gift that we as photographers have been given to bring the most beautiful parts of a person to the fore.
